i was diagnosed with msk about 8yrs ago and could find very little info back then. I believe i have had this for at least 16yrs. I am use to the stones and the infections and pain that go along with this. but i seem to be getting new symptoms that i am just wondering if they are normal. I had  cyst show up on a cat scan about a yr ago and have just had my first IVP since the original diagnoses, which is now showing i may have lesions now too.Has anyone else seen these with MKS or does it sound like something else is going on too.

HI and welcome, the chronic symptoms of MSK, seem to increase with time and with the levels of chronic infection.  We see many MSK patients with autoimmune disease though they differ I believe they are the bodies response to the chronic low level infections.  Biofilm infections can and often do set up in the stones.  The host response to this is an increase in histamine and mast cells which are known to be connected with auto immune diseases.
