About symptoms of menopause

I lost my period like 5 years ago after my daughter got very sick with anorexia and BP, also I got emotionally sick at the point that i lost 28 pounds in 3 weeks without doing nothing. I never had pre- menopausal symtoms, but all these years every time i get nervous i star having like hot flashes, i get cold and then really warm ,then my hand get cold and them again really hot. Also my medications for anxiety and depresion are not working well and i cry a lot, also have panic attacks. Can anybody tell me uf these hot flashes are normal and also my emotional state?. Thanks

Hi I'm new on here At 49 yrs old just started to skip periods and terrible joint pain and fatigue. BUT the reason I'm writing you is I am sweating so bad that people are commenting about it work! It's very embarrassing and used to be just my face & head. Now it's getting the back of my shirt wet from sweating . It happens mostly at work and it's a physical job but in the publics eye. I'm very uncomfortable and self conscience. Is there anything that can help besides Botox injections that I'm sure my ins wouldn't pay for?? Like a medicine possibly ???? Please respond as I'm so unhappy about my problem thanks

HI,
Hot flashes are a part of menopausal symptoms and if they are really distressing you should consult your gynaecologist for medications. Regarding your emotional state you do need help. Drugs are not helping so now you will need support of friends and family. Also eating healthy, regular exercise, meditation, yoga and distressing will help.
Take care and good luck.
