Hi Peggy,

I don’t know if it’s available in stores, but I’ve seen it in several places on the web. I bought mine from Amazon.

I can’t see where it says anything in particular about sleep, but for me, finally getting some decent rest is probably the biggest bonus. For one thing, I had been waking up at least two or three times every night with the sweats, so that’s made a huge difference.

Also, my anxiety levels have dropped way down from where they were. I’m not as crabby-snappy as I had been (especially since coming off the HRT), and the little nagging worries don’t seem to be distracting me all the time. I’m a lot calmer, have plenty of energy, and just feel better all around. I can’t say for sure that the product is responsible for all of this, but I can say that there has been a huge improvement in the way I feel since I started about a month ago.

Hi Sweetnms,

Your doctor said that black cohosh might cause clotting issues? Wow, that’s the first time I’ve heard of that. I have read that black cohosh was suspected of causing liver problems, but it seemed like the evidence was pretty sketchy. Also, I thought evening primrose was supposed to lower the risks of blood clots, not raise it!

You might want to ask your doctor about Wisdom Menopause Formula. I’ve been using it for about a month now, and my hot flashes and night sweats are all but gone, which is a huge relief because I had just come off of HRT, and they were driving me mad! It doesn’t contain black cohosh or evening primrose, and one of the things that I found reassuring is that all of the ingredients are on the FDA’s GRAS list, which means that they are generally recognized as safe.

It’s done wonders for me, my mood swings even seem to be leveling off. It might be worth asking your doc about.
