I'd not be too concerned at this point in time. A lot of us during this point in things do have spottingVaginal bleeding between periods of all weird sorts. Brown blood is usually the last portion of a period and during perimenopause, it can happen without worry as our hormones are not leveling off as they once did so, spikes in one hormone or the other can cause a bit more of this type of bleeding. I'd push it aside in your mind for now and just keep note of it. I really don't think it's anything to worry about at this stage in life. I think the net is full of stories like this. Just keep track and if it continues to happen, just talk to your doc about it. I'm sure he/she will tell you that it's nothing to be concerned about but, it always feels better being reassured by a doctor, doesn't it?
