Confused!

I am 48 years old and my cycle just came back on after almost 4 montths. Before the 4 months my cycle was light and lasted about 3 days, however this cycle has been on for 4days with heavy bleeding and clots. Can you tell me what is going on with my body.

...what's going on is that you're in the biological transitional phase known as
Peri-Menopause. Changes in your menstrual cycle and menstrual period can vary tremendously. Cycles may be longer or shorter or fall into a "no-pattern' pattern. Menstrual bleeding may be heavier or lighter, more prolonged or shorter, or entirely absent. Variable and declining hormone production is the cause. I've been going through the same thing, myself... and, I totally empathize!  "i"
