Constant Hot Flashes Followed by Freezing Cold

Ok ladies,

I'm I going crazy?  Menapause is Hell freezing over.

My problems is that  I get soooooo hot, that at night the cloth come off, sleep with A/C or fan and don't sleep very well.  I feel like I'm on fire or just plain old HELL.  Then I'm FREEZING my but off, sleeping at times with 3 blankets.
.
My period has stop and this has been going on for 2 yrs.  I'm I the only woman burning and freeeezzzzzing at the same time.

I have no period.  The only pills that I am taking is estrogen free remifemin, which is not much help and interesting enough, the burning flashes are more intense when I have to go to the restroom.

Please advise....Is it normal to have terrible hot flashes, for just a moment followed by freezing my butt at the same  time like right now?
