I just got an ultraUltra choice multivitamin/mineral Ultra choice multivitamin/mineral mature formula Ultra fresh Ultra fresh p.m. Ultra-natal sound which showed endometrial thickening. My blood work still shows that my estrogenHormone replacement therapy is within normalNormal saline flush range not menopausal yet (49), however I have a period skip a few months then take progestern to get it started and feel fine. Without starting my period, I walk around feeling crampy, bloated, like I will start anyday. Lately within the last 3 weeks of missing a period I have had ongoing pelvicKegel exercises Pelvic adhesions Pelvic inflammatory disease (pid) Pelvic laparoscopy Prostatitis - nonbacterial Uterine prolapse pain especially in my left side. Ovaries scanned without any cysts (fluid ones I am usually prone to) which I have discovered caused pain but subsided with a period. Dr. want to do D & C, scrape endometrial lining (biopsy), hysterscopy, and an ablation. I understand all of the procedures especially if he finds a polyp, but I don't understand the ablation. From what I read, it is used for heavy and irregular periods. I do miss period, but never have any trouble with heavy periods. Plus from what I read on-line at the Mayo clinic it didn't sound like ablation was a prevention of polyp reoccurence. I was also told later that this could prevent any warning signs showing up for endometrial cancer (no bleeding). I am concerned about the polyp removal and the question of the pelvicKegel exercises Pelvic adhesions Pelvic inflammatory disease (pid) Pelvic laparoscopy Prostatitis - nonbacterial Uterine prolapse pain (even feel pain in the rectum), but don't want any uncessary procdures. I had a colonoscopy two years ago and some polyps burned off. Is this the standard treatment for someone like I have described. Please advise. Thanks.
