#1: I'm 42 yrs old. 1.5 yrs. ago began "menopause" with FSH levels at 56.5. In January '07 had "period", went to gyno, got checked out, took another FSH & it came back 8.5. On 2/28/07 had FSH done and it's back up to 55.1. Is this normalNormal saline flush or is something else wrong? I'm being treated for Hashimoto's Disease - hypothyroid.
#2: Are these symptoms menopausal & HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THEM: LIGHTHEADEDNESS - CONSTANT SINCE MAY. Stomach bloat/belching/gas.....cancers are ruled out THANK GOD!! All started with thyroid/menopause troubles. Thyroid numbers are excellent now so I'm left to think it's menopause.
#3: Doc prescribed a VERY LOW DOSE of Prempro to start me on due to symptoms. Anyone have luck or adverse effects on this??? I need something. NO FAMILY HISTORY OF CANCERS (FEMALE OR OTHER), no heart disease, etc....
Please try to address these for me. Nobody can seem to help me with the lightheadedness and I feel like I'm high all the time which honestly isn't fun to be high constantly (LOL).
i have recently gotten lightheaded....and it comes and goes.
but in the past 2 yrs i have palpitations like crazy. had all types of cardiac tests, with second opinions and they say to ignor them.
besides the nervousness, anxiety, flashes ..YES lightheaded is one of them
best of luck to you
I think I'm going through exactly what you are. I'm 49 and recently been diagnosed with menopause. My FSH levels were high too, which from what my gyno says is menopause. I did have my thyroid tested and it was normal, although my TSH levels were high twice out of four tests. The doctors said it's not my thyroid. I have lightheadness every day, several times a day. It's like a quick 1-second blackout. The doctors say this is menopausal related, but I have no idea why this lightheadness happens every day. Hope you find answers. I wish I could.
