Feelings Out Of Control

Hello all,

Have any of you felt SO bad (mentally), that you've wanted to harm yourself?  someone else?  cry uncontrollably at nothing?  My thoughts are so bad lately I'm told I need to take hormones.  What are the best ones to take?  I haven't started yet, but know I'm in full-blown menopause since my periods stopped over a year ago and I turned 52 today.

Help please!

I am sorry you did not have a happy birthday.  But, I believe next year you will have a very happy birthday.

I am sorry you are feeling this bad.  You deserve to feel good not bad.  So, why not make an appointment with a doctor you feel comfortable with and can trust in order to talk about the feelings you are going through.  They are real feelings and their is real help for you.  You are not going crazy.  

Whether or not you may or may not need to take hormones is for you and your doctor to decide what is best for you.

Sometimes we can experience such hard to bear feelings.  And when that happens, it is easy to think there is no way to fix it when in reality, there are very quick and simple solutions (following your doctors advise) that will fix the problem; so, you don't have to suffer with it.  

You are not by yourself in your feelings.  Feelings or just that, "feelings".  There is hope.  And there is definate help.  Take a moment and realize you will not stay in those feelings forever, they will pass.  You deserve to feel good.  If you need to make an appointment with a doctor, you do it.  You will begin to have much less bad days and way more good days.  You will be glad you did.
