Can fibroids cause pms-type symptoms (cramps, backache) 6+ years after menopause?

I definitely recommend you check with a doctor about your symptoms.  I think of kidneys from what you are describing, but I'm not a doctor.  Fibroids I have heard shrink with menopause because of the lack of estrogen.  On the other hand, if you are taking estrogen or estrogen like product, you might stimulate endometriosis if you have any of that- and it wouldn't surprise me if it would stimulate fibroids to grow.
