Hair Loss
I had a hysterectomy 2 years ago, but they left my ovaries.  I have been experiencing a significant amount of hair loss since then.  Has anyone else experienced this and what do you do about it?

I can relate to the hair loss. I went through bouts of it twice within the past 2 years.

Are you on any hormones at all? I know hormones can play a big part in hair loss. Your hormones can also be out of whack - another cause of hair loss.

Do you have an itchy scalp? The reason why I ask is because TE (telogen effluvium) can cause hair loss and an itchy scalp. Stress sometimes triggers TE.

I went to an Endocrinologist last year when I was suffering from hair loss. All he did for me was did some blood tests - checked my hormones mainly and yes they were all screwed up at the time.
