Heartbeat irregularity

I'm a 51 yo female and think I am either perimenopausal or menopausal...it's hard for me to say becuase I had a partial hysterectomy about 15 years ago so I don't have periods.  I'm having hot flashes, increased anxiety, waking up after 4 or 5 hours of sleep which is mostly due to an irregular heartbeat.  Does anyone else on this forum experience these?  They are very scary!! Usually I'll have a hot flash at the same time but not always.  I've been to the doctor and was diagnosed with premature ventricular contractions and told they are very common, but up until 4 months ago, I had never experienced these.  My blood pressure and resting heart rate have always been low.  I just wanted to know if anyone else experiences these popcorn like irregularites and if they could be related to my menopausal symptoms.  Thanks

yes you and I could be twins I had my right overy and half of my left removed at 21 from an cycst that the dr. said I couldnt possible have- to young and sent me to a pych to talk and they called my house because I had missed the app. and my mother said  "yes she couldn't make it she is busy getting her appendix and overies removed because The symptoms are all in her head she to young to have anything lol, the cyst just rapped itself all over ,so they left me just enough to have a period but ever since that day maybe a month later I started getting palpitations skipped beats or what ever I didnt think much at the time but now i'm reflexing back at the age 42 and been to er numerous times hospitalized for holter ekg and stress test "I must have had alittle insurance then LOL they said anxiety and learn to live with it . I began to obsess over them creating them to happen all the more stress will bring them on like bang busters ! I really let them ruin my life I want to do so much but I start to and get scared my heart might act up and bam here we go again. I really attribuite them to hormones because I never had them before and I was a nervous little kid and I read teens on here all the time worried what it is. Currently I have no insurance so I try my best to ignore them also if I get hungry it will bring them on then they subside for awhile I know this comment is way to long but Im on a roll. anyway I hope you got something out of that if only that your not alone! sorry for mispellings and grammer errors hope you can read my typing Im really not good at it lol good luck Lori

I turned 50 last year and started noticing changes when i was 39 my monthly period became unpredictably heavy.
Then when i turned 45 i started getting excruciatingly itchy hands and putting on weight and generally feeling very unhealthy and bloated.
I have done everything within my power to minimize discomfort of these occurring changes from not drinking alcohol not smoking taking regular exercise watching what i eat( with in reason !! ).
At the moment i am experiencing itching in my  ( va ja ja ) it is horrible and very embarrassing i too miss a period as well.
I don,t know of any other women who is experiencing the same symptoms as me as i don,t have any friends only my partner and he is male.I think coming here to talk to women who are going through this change helps and at least takes weight off things that our concerning us at this differcult time in our lives.
Be strong for yourself if your doctor has declared you are fine just except it and look at your life style and diet there may be something that you may have to give up..  (-:
