Help!! Burning ears, is it related?? Does anyone else have the same problem?

I had a bad day yesterday with both of my ears burnings and with some pain. I was hateful to my family and cried all day.
I have premarin but I don't think it is helping.
I had a complete hysteretomy in August 08. I did have problems with my right ear burning in April of 08 before my surgery.
I have had problems for a long and I'm now seeking help with a neurologist.
I have searched for burning ears but it doesn't really relate to menopause.
Can someone help me?
