I am a 63 year old woman who is still experiencing frequent (several times a day) hot flashes. This has been occurring since I entered menopause, (no periods for over a year), almost 11 years ago. Is this normal?? It's disrupting my life more often now it seems. I dress in layers and avoid spicy, hot foods. Any other suggestions.
Thank you for your ideas,
Maybe you should get a hormone panel done. I was low in progesterone and I have been using natural projesterone cream. As a matter of fact I read that it is good for all women to use once their menstrual stops. It builds bone too.
