Irregular Bleeding

Hello I am 46 year old and for the past 2 years I have had irregular menstral cycles.  Approximately 2 years ago when this first started I had an endometrial biopsy which was normal.  The irregular bleeding stopped for approximately a year and returned this past winter.  In May I had a second endometrial biopsy and atypical cells were found.  I have a DNC and hystecop (?) scheduled for tomorrow.  I have been doing some reading and really havent' much about the results until now.  Should I be more concerned than I am?  My mother at the age of 80 died from uterine cancer.  I guess I would also like to know what course of treatment I should expect.

You should talk to your dr that ur mother died of uterine cancer,because this is hereditary and can be pass on to female offsprings...God bless and Gudluck!
