Irregular Bleeding

I did not have a period in April at all, i started my period the end of May and went for 17 days, it has been 2 weeks and I started again, is this normal with menopause.

It certainly can be!  Lots of women go through this type of thing in perimenopause (we're not menopausal until we've had at least 12 months with no bleeding/periods).  Cycles can go from closer together to further apart, heavy to light, light to heavy and everything in between.  So, the only thing that's constant in this phase of life is inconsitency! :)  Welcome to whackdom.  :)
