Is 43 too early for pre menapause?

I have had no symptoms that I am aware of, of pre menapause. I always have irregular periods anywhere from 21 to 28 days apart. I never have missed a period unless pregnant. I should have had one no later than Jan 28, 2012 recently. I took a test 2 days later and was negative. Is that too early to detect hcg? My periods are still 6 to 7 days long and the first half still real heavy, still had bad cramps, no cutting back on anything.

My bf is a two time cancer survivor. He is 35. He was told when he was a teenager he most likely couldn't have children. How likely is it he could all these years later? Can the sperm rejuvinate or could they be wrong? The wait is agonizing. I want to know what is going on with me. My insurance kicks in , in 2 weeks.

Hi,
The pregnancy test can be repeated after 8 days as sometimes the detection may be delayed. A simple semen test of your bf will help know the current status. Consult your Doctor.
Hope this helps. Take care.
