Is HRT really necessary?

Is HRT really necessary?

It's me again.  I am now 33 and the only reason I started taking HRT is for the Prevention of Osteoporosis.  But is HRT really necessary?  I am now only 34 and I would prefer not to take any medication but i am aware that I need to look after my body.  Please any advise on this matter would help me as I do not really know what to do for the best... HRT or no HRT?????  Thank you.

If you can tolerate the hot flashes, night sweats, ect. I would say don't take them. I was on BHRT for 2 years and decided that I was going to stop taking them. That lasted about 4 months and between the hot flashes and my husband being ready to have me committed, I had to go back on them. I just started the Femring. I have a few friends that love it. It last for three months and they said that it's the best thing since sliced bread.  I can't tell yet, but we'll see.
