Is it menopause

I had a vaginal hysterectomy in Oct 08 and have started with menopause symptoms since then. I am 46 my blood levels are 51.2 FSH and Estradiol,Ultra-sensitive is <2 pg/ml. I am wondering what this blood level means.

The FSH is definitely within menopausal ranges.  Not sure what the Estradiol levels mean but, you most definitely could be feeling the effects of menopause.  Just remember that these levels fluctuate during perimenopause so, your hormones don't always stay at the same levels and your symptoms will change with those fluctuations.  It's just more difficult to measure symptomatically in terms of periods etc. after a hysterectomy.  I'd consider any symptoms you're getting that are classic menopausal symptoms (hot flushes, mood swings, tired etc.) as being due to menopause given your levels.  

By the way, how was your hysterectomy?  I may be due to have one done and I'm wondering how it went for you?  How long were you in hospital, was it a hard or easy recovery etc.?  Anything you can share with me would really help me as well.
