Late Start

I am going on 65.Had aq tubal ligation in 1980.  I am physicaly stong and healthy and will be getting married to a much younger man. Is there any possibility I can get pregnant. I started menopause three years now.

Giving birth over the age of 50 is extremely rare, and the odds go down with each successive year. When these pregnancies do happen, it is almost always with the help of IVF, and usually with donated eggs.

Add the fact that you had your tubes tied back in ’80, and it seems like you’d have to work pretty hard at it. But hey, you’re healthy, strong, and about to get married to a young, virile guy, there’s no harm in trying!
