I am 54 year old women who is very fit (5'9", 138 pds, <20% body fat and resting HR of 50) and active.
I am passing through menopause and was actually hoping for hot flashed due to my cold nature. I have just gotten slight hints of them (my neck get slightly warm). Instead I have gotten colder especially between 7-9 PM, when I have to put on multi layers of clothes or jump on the exercise bike to get warm. My body is cold to the touch everywhere.
Is there something I can do to help my body temperature? Is there something wrong with me? It has to be 80 degrees before I leave the house without a sweater or a jacket.
