Menopausal Medicine

I've heard that taking Zoladex can be used to induce menopause; and treating the symptoms can be done w/the use of HRT and Premarin. If this is so, does anyone know how long it will take for the medicine to induce menopause, and how long will the medicine be needed to treat the symptoms? Since i'm uninsured and my period is making me very sick, especially those debilitating migraines, (probably, because i'm too old now) I'm trying to find a way to help myself. Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear about the migraines.  Zoladex will suppress the periods as long as you take it, but when you stop taking it, they come back.  It's also got a lot of side effects that sound very unpleasant, along with the risk of osteoporosis.  You might look up Wikipedia's entry on Zoladex (it will link you to the generic name).
