I would have your blood sugar checked. This can cause the same symptoms you are describing mood swings hot flashes and all. I am 41 and menapousal but I also have blood sugar issues. good luck!

Hello.  I have had the same symptoms as you and have been begging my doc to test me for menopause, if there is such a test, for the last several years.  They won't even discuss it.  I have had trouble sleeping, wake up exhausted every single morning (for years), hot flashes in the night (sometimes during the day - and sometimes chills), I have severe bloating, cramping, the cramps have worsened over the years.
My periods are getting heavier and heavier and closer and closer together.

I have PMDD and in the last couple of years have become a raving lunatic - I mean serious mood swings, enough to scare myself and not ilke myself at all during the week before my period...it's AWFUL!!!!!!!!!  I have horrid headaches right before or during my period that cannot be controlled without Relpax.

I have began having periods every 2.5-3 weeks...fun.
I just had a pelvic u/s and transvaginal u/s which showed everything normal except "free pelvic fluid"???  The doc doesn't seem concerned???

I've had my thyroid checked, anemia, every other blood test you can imagine, everythng comes back normal-which is good - but WHAT IS WRONG???

My stomack feels like a gas baloon...constantly gurgling and no matter what I do, it's feeling bloated - vaginal u/s actually was very uncomfortable because of this??!!  And I feel "pressure" when having intercourse, especially if my husband is behind me....

I have no idea what to do......
