Menoupase Test results

Im 35 and just missed two periods.  Before this everything was normal.  Nurse just called with test results and said I was in menopause.  I see the Doctor again at the end of the month.  Can you tell from results how far into Menopause I am.  I had hoped to get pregant but that doesn't seem like a option now.

FSH 39.6
LH  46.9
Prolaction 6.8

Thank You,

Misty

One blood test cannot tell if you are in menopause, just that your ovaries are no longer working at the reproductive level and that menopause is nearing. Menopause before age 40 is called 'premature menopause'. The definition of menopause is one year after your last period.  So you might have periods again before menopause finally occurs.

You are correct that having a baby now is less likely. If that is something you want to happen, make an appointment with a reproductive endocrinologist now and see if there is anything you can do. Sooner is better than later for that option.
