Never Expected This

I am 56 years old & post-menopausal.  I am thin (116lbs, 5'7') & have always lived a very healthy lifestyle-I am a runner.  I have noticed my stomach has been looking bloated & have been feeling hardness in my pelvic area with increased urination, all of which I attributed to "my changes".  I am about to get re-married & leave for a honeymoon but thought I would discuss these symptons with my gyno.  To make a long story short, went for an ultrasound & found a 16cm ovarian cyst.  I WAS SHOCKED!  C125 blood test showed level 13 which my doctor was happy about.  I am so scared-need an opinion.

Hello there,

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage. I would think your family
doctor would be the best person to advise you as he or she knows your
medical history best. Your family doctor can also give you any necessary
referrals to specialists. Atleast this is the way my doctor does things.
The best of luck. I'm sure everything will be okay. Blessings, Eve :)

I don't have experience with this, but good for your for getting this checked out, finding out the cause and taking whatever action is needed.  Also, congrats on your upcoming nuptials!
