POF and Hypothyroidism

Hi!!  I'm a 39 year old female who was dx. with POF at 28...since then I have been on a "symptom rollercoaster".  I started with HTN, then high cholesterol and triglycerides, excessive weight gain, extreme fatigue, severe hot flashes, sleep apnea,elevated c-reactive protein(HS), depression,pre-diabetes & insulin resistance, foggy thinking and puffy eye area...thus I'm feeling pretty lousy.  Just this week I stumbled upon the symptoms of Hypothyroidism...is it possible that this is the source of all my symptoms. And, my paternal grandmther had Hashimoto's and needed to have her goiter removed.  I feel like I may be in an autoimmune syndrome situation...and I really need help and answers.  Any thoughts would be GREAT.  Jen in NJ

P.S. My bloodwork for my thyroid...FSH, T4, T3 all are within normal limits...should I have a thyroid antibody screening???

Hi Doctor, Thanks for your input....I'm on Lipitor, Inderal LA, Estrogen, Tricor and Glucophage....everything you mentioned has already been done....everything has been checked and rechecked...everything but my thryoid which could be at the root of the problem...(Just found Out)TSH=2.14, And Thyroglobin Results are High....I'm on my way to an Endocrinologist (first visit on Friday)Hoping to get insight into all of this mess...I'm to young to be so ill...any more input would be GREAT I want to be prepared for Friday....could this be all autoimmune related....my grandmother had Hashimoto's and needed her goiter removed.  Thanks for your help...Jen
