Partial hysterectomy,my daughter

Hi my 33 year old daughter had a partial hysterectomy, last year 2004 in March. She is now having problems, with hot flashes and her ovaries hurting all the time. She had endometirosis, her gynecologist left her ovaries. She all so has ovarian cysts, she had them way before, her surgery. My question is,can her ovaries be shutting down. She does not have energy no more. She is all so having other problems, neuropathy, numbness, aches all the the time. Can this be due to her ovaries shutting down?I am really concerned for her.Ever since the surgery, she has had problems. Her gynecologist told her she would start improving. But she hasn't.I all so want to add,she had a stroke on September 3,2005 of this year. Her triglycerides where 422.She doesn't eat fatty foods or that much bread.Do you know the cause of all of her problems? We are all desperate to help her and make her better. She has three children that depend on her.She can barely walk now, unless her husband is helping her.She is just so young to be going through this.Raven33 sorry it was so long,I am just trying to find answers. We are running out of,options.Oops forgot to mention all so dizyy headed all the time, and has a blood clot n her brain. She has had that since she was a child.Just found out about it this year, her brother hit her in the head with a steel bar, when she was 5 years old.Was knocked out for 5 hours.I didn't think any thing about a brain injury being done. This happened in the seventies,I thought she was a sleep.I guess she wasn't,now that I think about it.Thank you for your time Raven33.

A. Endometriosis can attack the ovaries and cause menopause to come earlier than it would normally come, even at age 33.  So it may be that her ovaries are shutting down.  Ask your daughter

Your daughter might want to be checked for fibromyalgia also.  I've read on some hysterectomy support boards that a lot of women who have hysterectomies end up with fibromyalgia.  I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia before my surgery so I know that the surgery didn't cause mine.  I just got stuck with all of the sexual problems that the surgery can cause some women!
