Peri -menopause bleeding: HELP!

by eilee, Jun 09, 2008 05:13PM
I am in Peri-menopuase  -and occasionally skip a period. This month I started bleeding at Day 12 and it lasted a couple of days. It felt more like a period and not simply spotting. I had a normal Pap in February and normal Pelvic.

IWith peri-menopause, I've never heard of period like bleeding mid cycle, only spotting - so I'm really worried something is horrible wrong.

Has anyone ever heard of this?

Seeking reassurance!

Eilee keep a record of what is going on.......what is happening is normal if you are Peri-menopausal.......if your Pap test was normal then dont worry.  It's just hormone levels interferring with ovulation.

Yup its normal, I had all that ,nothing wrong if the Paps okay, you'll feel great once it stops altogether.!!
