MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
HI,
Irregular and excessive bleeding is not a sign of menopause. An examination by a gynaecologist and an ultrasound scan will make matters clear. The bleeding can be stopped with medicines in the form of haemostatic agents and hormonal therapy.
Hope this helps.
