Periods

Hi am 49 and I'm so tired of having my period, I have it very heavy and it last up to 3 weeks then it will stop and be back in one week starting all over again. I have never missed one period yet, this has been going on for almost 2 years now I'm ready to tell my doctor to take everything out I'm done,  I have some hot flashes but more cold my body feels like it's filled with ice. I told my doctor and she just gave me that look like your crazy.

This does sound like menopause! It hits some worse than others. I had periods that came and went as they wanted! And I had periods that lasted 2 weeks with heavy bleeding too.
So long as you have had an obs/gyn check-out and there is nothing physically wrong inside, then it's all caused by hormones. Get that check-out if you haven't already had one. (I had 3)

All I can say is you have to ride it out till it's done. Things WILL settle down in time. I believed the symptoms would never go away (but they did)
You could maybe check out herbal remedies. Sometimes they help. Once I'd been checked over and the specialist told me my problems were basically hormonal, I went to a professional Herbalist and got some medicine which did help me quite a lot.
