Side effects from Progesterone therapy

I am wondering if the Progesterone therapy I am taking is causing my joint and muscle pains? I have been taking 25mg twice daily for about 2 years and have always been quite active. However, in the past 4 months or so, I have been experiencing hip and knee pain if I sit for a period of time. I also have a great deal of muscle stiffness and pain in the mornings when I wake up, which I have never had. I have never had arthritis and have always been extremely active. I started taking the Progesterone treatment after saliva tests showed a deficiency and I was also experiencing some hot flashes. I had my uterus removed due to excessive vaginal bleeding about 5 years ago. I still have my ovaries. Other than thyroid replacement, I am very healthy and active, but this is really putting a cramp in my activity level. It makes me feel like I can't do anything. Any insight would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Hip and knee pain, is what I am having. when I stand up, my hip joints hurt and my knee hurts when I get started walking you would think I had some sort of disease.  And I am only 47 years old.

I am having this same problem as well. I don't know which one of these hormones are causing it. Would be something to check into, thats for sure.
