This is a Really Strange Question but Scared

Hi, I am 62 I went through menopause about 11 or 12 years ago.  I have never had any spotting or bleeding but for the
last few years I have been wearing Carefree pantyliners because of incontenence and sneezing.  About 2 1/2 months
ago I started having hip and back pain and went to my doctor and was diagnosed with osteoarthritis, but it is constant
pain every day.  In the meantime I got scared about ovarian cancer and went and got a transvaginal ultrasound which
showed uterus normal size and thickness and ovaries normal.  Before I went through menopause I had to have a
D & C for endemetrial  heavy bleeding which showed hyperplasia, later got biopsy and didn't have it anymore then my
periods. stopped.  what I am asking is I buy the Carefree with the baking soda for fragrance and sometimes when I
change them they are dark yellow streaks and tannish color and I am wondering if this is from kidney incontenence or
vaginal discharge or the baking soda turning them this color.  I have noticed this off and on for several years.  I am
trying to wear white panties with no liners now to check and today there is just a little pale yellow in them.  I am due
to go back to gyn on Jan 27 because I insisted on a  CA125 blood test to rule out ovarian cancer.  I believe even if
my transvaginal ultrasound is normal I will ask for an endometrial biopsy of the uterine lining.   Has anyone else
ever experienced anything even remotely close to what I am describing or if anyone past menopause has ever had
a yellowish tannish discharge from time to time.  Thank you, Belva

Hi Belva:
So good to hear from you,  My brother passed away last week in Montana, so we just got back Monday evening, it was unexpected couldn't get a connected flight from PDX to Billings, so we drove to Seattle and flew out from there, I'm still spotting, and getting nervous, I know ones mind goes all over the place, when I was down in Montana, my sister-in-law had this done 10 years ago and it came out Uterine Cancer, but was contained, she said she feels so much better, have to have faith and try not to worry, but thanks for listening  it helps a lot, Wierd the hospital just called and got me pre registered, I will have to stay overnight, so I'm trying to get things done before going, Grandson is coming over shortly, going to finish painting our office, Belva did you have any form of cramping? sometimes I kind of ache on my right side, anyway I will chat with you later, I'm glad things turned out good, If you continue to hurt get a second opinion!

Hi, so sorry it took so long to get back with you but my entire sattelite system crashed
and a technician just came out today to fix it.  i was down for several weeks and couldn't use my computer.  I got the pathology report back from my D & C and everytlhing was
alright.  I am still having back and hip pain sometimes quite severe.  Doctor is blaming it
on fibromyalgia but I am skeptical as the Savella and Lyrica does not seem to be
helping very much.  Please let me know how your surgery goes and I will be praying for
you.   Sometimes I wish they would do a hysterectomy on me.  I still think my ovaries
may be bad but doc says they are alright.  Your friend,
Belva

Hi Belva:
Well I went to the Dr's, I really didn't get to disguss the qustions I would of liked to as he had an intern following him around Friday, told him I was still spotting some he looked over the computer reports again, said he didn't get a lot of tissue frome the endometriocas (sp)  said it looked benign, so he thinks I need a complete Hysterectomy as I had a Fyborid tumer that busted a couple of years ago and was benign, so we scheduled it for April 1st, he will be doing it Rabotic Camera Laproscopy, three incisions, and said he felt like he doesn't want to take chances as my history, also under the uturus could be cells they can't find on the ultrasounds, I asked him about the C-125 test he said that was for ovaries and mine looked fine, I'm still nervous, as I still don't know where this spotting is coming from, which we lived closer, where do you live?
I hope everything works out with you, it sounds good... chat with you later

Hi, good to hear from you again .  Did you get to go to your appointment with gyn and what did he tell you?  I have an appointment with my primary doctor tomorrow and he is
not goint to be happy with me because I went off the Savella because of having a
D & C  He is really not happy with me anyway as I am not making any progress and I dont think he knows where to turn next.  I am still waiting for my lab results from D & C
I still have an uneasy feeling about it and won't be able to relax until I get results.

Hi everyone! -Just so you know, the CA125 test isn't 100% accurate. I had a positive CA125 test and it ended up just being an ovarian cyst. When other more specific cancer tests were done (some sort of FAP -fetal alpha protien?) test, it was negative. So, if you have a + result, get further tests done before you panic about cancer. -It would have saved me a lot of worry! :) ~MM

Hi Belva:
I'am glad that sounds like it turned out succesful, on your Pain, go to Coscto, I got these supplements they were having people try out, wouldn't hurt, they are all natural they are called Celadrin they are for advanced Joint Health, my husband is a golfer and always is experiencing pain in his hip, has started taking them, and says he is getting relief from them, I'going to start taking them next week and try, can't hurt, and they have natural ingredients in them. I go at 4:10 pm today to see my Gyn, will let you know what he tells me, I'm still spotting some and it is a light wierd color like a light tan, no oder, the nurse had asked me if I was having that, told her no, so I'm glad to hear from you, did you go in as an out patient and they put you to sleep? anyway I will get in touch with you tonight and let you know what he says, its always a worry, when you have had cancer before, anyway check out the Celadrin, I will chat with you later!

Hi, just wanted to oet you know that i had my d & cyesterday and doctor found a endometrial polyp that he thinottks was causing the spotting.  That is straeange because
years ago I had polyps in cervix that caused  light pink stainingarand with this discharge
I had dark  yellow and brown discharge, though not much of the brown.  I guess . I have
to wait and see whemat pathology on lining comes back as.  I had very little bleeding after
D & C and now it has completely stopped.  back buttocks and hips have really been
bothering me.  I have had every test under the sun for them and nothing is showing up.
I have pain no matter what I am doing and it seems to be getting worse.  This darn computer is acting up so I will close for now Love, Belva

Hi Belva:
I'm glad your going in for a D&C. Did you spot very much? right now I have a dark yellow discharge, really strange, I'm calling the nurse on Monday, I think its only been 3 weeks since I had the Ultrasound, he suggested to wait for 6 weeks, was working out in the flowergaren the last 2 days, last night my back was in pain, mine is on the right side and goes into the hip, I also have osterpersosis (SP) my Dr. gets upset with me as I'm not taking boniva, fosamac (sp) trying to do foods with more akline, and Calcium/Mag. then I think my bones are aching for that reason, who ,knows, I did a Ct Scan and other tests about 2 years ago, last year did a pap smear lung exray,  My Chiropractor does a pretty good job, he doesn't minuplate the bones  he scans over the body and has some instruments he adjusts with.and some acupuncture.. let me know how your D&C turns out, I'll be thinking and praying for you. Have a great weekend.  We have our littlest Red Head Grandson who is 3, keep us busy his parents went to Washington for the week-end so my husband took him to our Grandaughters Basketball game, so I ran like furious gettin caught up till he gets back, right now I'm taking our dog for a walk chat with you later!

Hi, I go in for a D &C this coming Wednesday, hope it comes out ok.  I really have been
having severe hip and buttock pain on left side and when I work I am on my feet all
day and I don't think I can take much more of it.  The only time I get relief is when I
am lying down with a heating pad on.  How long have you't  been having your hip  and
back pain?  Mine started in November and has been going on for about 4 months have
had xrays ct scan and MRI which show nothing to cause pain except a little arthritis.
maybe worry has caused it to get worse.  I can't wait to get this test over with as at least
if they don't find uterine cancer I can concentrate on taking care of back and hip pain
does the chiropractor help with your pain?  I never had much success with them
in the past.  Please keep in touch and I will let you know how my test turns out
with love and prayers,
Belva

Hi Belva:
I will be saying a prayer for you, but I think your going to be just fine, I keep hoping every day this spotting will vanish, its like too much cream in your coffee color, really strange, I did write on the web, looked like I had a little larger fybroid with calcification deposits around it but he said it was benign, I to have a back pain on my right lower side and into my hip, I keep going to the chropractier (sp ) for an adjustment, he wanted me to wait for six weeks, I told my husband its been a week from my test results, but this has been going on for about 5 weeks, I probably will call him in another week, He wants to repeat the Vaginal Ultrasound then, They have not given me this CA125 test, I will ask him about that, lets keep in touch with each other I will be thinking of you best of luck

Hi, sorry so long to get back with you but my computer crashed with a bad virus and I had to change my username and use my husbands computer until I can get mine fixed.
I am still having some brown discharge so my doctor is doing a D&C on me on
feb 24th.  He keeps assuring me that my transvaginal uotr aasound showed normal and he
doesn't see any sign of cancer but I am scared as I seen a liitlwee brown spotting about 2 .years ago and it went away.  I am still having bad back hip and buttock pain which can be a sign of uterine cancer  The CA125 only shows positive for ovarian cancer but italso shows high if uterine cancer has spread outside the uterus.  Mine was a 17 which is negative.
so hopefully if I have it it will still be contained in the uterus.  Please keep in touch and I wiill let you know what transpires with me.  Please throw in a prayer for me also.   Talk with you later,
Belva
