Two day bleeding on Provera

by dily, Nov 14, 2006 12:00AM
Its Dily again, thanks. I did bleed on day 12 after stopping Provera, but it lasted only for two days. Does this also mean a lower estrogen level? Also since my FSH came out to be normal, can taking estrgen progestrone together increase my chances of having an ovulation ?

A. Any bleed counts as a bleed. So bleeding for only two days is fine. You would need a blood estrogen level to know if it is low.  Taking estrogen and progesterone will often prevent ovulation, not increase the chances of it.  It will increase the chance of a bleed, but it is only an artificial bleed from the uterine lining shedding, not due to an ovulation.
