Vaginal Dryness

I am a 39 year old female that recently got married.  My husband and I are trying to have children and we got pregnant once about 5 months ago but I sadly had a miscarriage. Since then I have had alot of problems having sex with my husband due to vaginal dryness. It has literally become painful.
I have a few questions about that.
First - Can I be starting menopause or perimenopause?  Is it common for women my age to start vaginal dryness.  (my FSH levels are still under 10)
Second - what can I use to help my dryness that wont damage sperm so that I can still get pregnant.
Third will I be able to get pregnant?

If your FSH level is under 10, you are not in menopause. But if you had a miscarriage and are trying now to conceive, you might be having sex to time pregnancy, even if you are not in the mood. That leads to dryness.

Try a vaginal moisturizer called RepHresh. Use it daily for a week and then twice a week after that. It should help. It is not supposed to affect sperm. Astroglide is a lubricant for a quick fix and it is also not supposed to affect sperm. But is only lasts a few minutes and the RepHresh should help keep you moist.

Unfortunately, no one can tell if you will get pregnant. The fact that you did a few months before and your FSH is less than 10 are good signs.  Good luck.
