Uterine fibroids you have are rather small, about the size of a quarter. A thick lining that lasts a long time can become precancerous and over many years, even turn into cancer. Usually when the lining is thick, doctors check the lining by doing an endometrial biopsy. That is an office test that uses a small, thin instrument to go inside the uterus and
scrape a few cells out of the lining to be looked at under the microscope.
The thickened lining should not be a cause of discomfort. Sometimes the uterus can get
