am i more than 11 weeks pregnant

hiya i went for a scan they told me i was 11 weeks and the baby is 10 center meters i looked on a wed sit and that said at 11 weeks the baby should be 6 center meters am i more that 11 weeks gone?

Ans: It is hard to say from what you are telling me what was measured. Sometimes an early pregnancy is difficult to measure and it can be off a little depending on the view. Also, the measurements may be of diffent things.  Usually the sac that the pregnancy is in (not the pregnancy) is about 6 millimeters at ll weeks of pregnancy. The best thing to do is to have another ultrasound scan in few weeks.  That one will probably tell you how far along you are as it gets easier to measure with time.  Also, it is good ideas to have your doctor examine you for the size of your uterus (womb).  Try to be sure when you had your last menstrual period and also if you can when you had sex that led to the pregnancy.  All those things will help. In the meantime, be sure and take your prenatal vitamins and drink 2 or more glasses of milk daily.
