chronic vaginal bleeding

At 58 I bleed (slightly, grant you) month round.  Sometimes the bleeding is heavy like a regular period (usually at period time).  The rest of the month, it is just spotty.  My last FSH level was 61.9, and my LH was 39.9.  I do have a fibroid tumor.  When can I expect to be done with all of this?

At 58 one would expect that you would not be bleeding at all and certainly not all month long. For that reason, talk to your doctor. He/she might do an ultrasound of your uterus to check the lining, an endometrial biopsy (which is an office procedure in which a thin plastic tube is placed into the uterus and a few cells scraped out to be looked at under the microscope), a hysteroscopy  in which a thin telescope is placed into the uterus or a D&C which is like the endometrial biopsy but done in the operating room with anesthesia and the entire lining scraped out. That should help find the cause. It is not likely due to the fibroid.
