continous bleeding

i have using pills for 8months in 2005 and stopped in august 2005, i have been trying to get pg since, i had my last period in feb and missed so i took many hpt test and one blood test but came out negative. in may 9th i started having brown discharge thought was implantation bleeding, i have been having light bleeding since then till now. i have seeing a doc next week is it something serious. what is the cause of my daily bleeding??

A. It sounds like you have a hormonal imbalance that is causing both your bleeding and your delay in getting pregnant.  If you were on birth control pills for 8 months in 2005, it is unlikely there is a serious problem causing your bleeding, but you might need some form of treatment to reduce the time it takes for you to conceive.
