enlarged uterus and postmenopause bleeding
I have an enlarged uterus.  Have not had my period in 2 1/2 years.  Had a hysteroscopy done today.  No cysts found inside but tomorrow will have ultrasound to show the outside of the uterus.
I am a bit concerned.  What are the chances this could be cancerous.  I have some lower back and abdominal pain (as of very recently) and had some light bleeding last week.  Also seem to have a lot of "gas" lately.

Hi there,
As the hysteroscopy has not revealed anything the chances of cancer are very less. If a sample of endometrium was taken for histopathology, during hysteroscopy it would make the diagnosis clear. Also the ultrasound will reassure you if it turns out to be normal. Wish you all the best.
Take care.
