I've gained 60 pounds, I'm irritable, tired my nerves are bad
No hot flashes or night sweats yet, i'm 43.  Being tested for cushings, but was wondering if its just menopausal/hormone problems.  The weight seems to be upper mostly.  My breasts
swell throughout the day.  My body swells after I eat.
I've been looking for answers for 3 years.  Any suggestions of what it could be?  I had a partial hysterectomy March 6, because of endometriosis.

Menopause is usually not associated with a significant weight gain. Metabolism does slow down and some weight gain can occur, but not as much as you describe. Thyroid problems are a common cause of weight gain and tiredness. Cushings is too, especially upper body. Talk with your doctor. There is most likely another reason than menopause. It might be worth talking to a mental health professional as well. Although depression might not be the reason you have gained the weight, gaining 60 pounds, dealing with endometriosis, three years of suffering and having to go through a hysterectomy could certainly be helped by emotional support.
