im bleeding after being in menopause for 3 years

what are some reasons that i would be all of a sudden bleeding aft 3 years w no period. my blood levels were 98.9 shut down in 2001 and by 2003 preiods stopped. i do not take any harmone replacement. some ppl say cysts, others say cancer. my mother died in june 16 of adenocarcinoma, ovarian cancer.

there could be benign reasons for bleeding, but you must see a doc - preferably a gyn - for an evaluation.
