large fibroids after menapause

by smoochee, Jul 21, 2008 09:57AM
I just left the Urologist and he found a "pelvic mass" and ordered a ct.  He said he could be a left over fibroid or Uterine cancer.  My bladder is not working right and this is the first step in finding what iswrong.  I am scared.  Is it possible to have a large fibroid after menapause and not be cancerous.?  I am 60.

I expect you do feel scared , Try to get the CT done fairly quicklyso you are not worrying for too long and remember whatever it is there are some great "cures" out there for stuff we wouldnt have survived years ago. Keep your mind busy you will get through it, dont let yourself dwell on the Negative too much and if you do give yourself 5mins to feel anxious then put it away and get busy. Let us know what theyt say.
