im 49 years old with thyroid-disease(hypo)ive always had heavy periods since i had children.the thing is now in the last week or two ive been spotting here annd there.regular periods every month usually.am i starting menapause?

HI,
Spotting in between normal menses usually suggests a local problem in the vagina and the cervix. This can be cervical erosion or cysts and polyps etc. Consult your gynaecologist for an examination.
