menopause

I am 47 years old and have not had a period in almost two years and all of a sudden I woke up Sunday morning and my period was on what should I do?

My sister, who was in fact looking forward to menopause because she was tired of periods, made it to the 14-months-with-no-period point, and then had a period.  Was she ever bummed!  It's not unusual.  :)

Nothing that you wouldn't do for any period.  It just means that a couple of weeks ago, you ovulated.  Sometimes that happens in early menopause.
