menstral cycle

I HAVE BEEN WITHOUT A CYLCLE FOR 5 YRS. AND NOW IT HAS RETURNED. WHAT DO I DO.

Seems like you might want to talk to a doctor and perhaps, get at least an ultrasound done to see whether there is a thickening of the uterine lining or, perhaps, a fibroid or something else causing it.  It could be from estrogen levels being higher than progesterone from my understanding of things that I've read but, you really should talk to your doc about this and see what he/she recommends.  I know it's frightening.
