perimenopause symptoms

I am 32 years old and think I might be in perimenopause. My tubes have been tied and I also had a procedure called hydrothermal ablasion to eliminate my period. That was not successful. My PMS is horrible. My symptoms include: severe mood swings, headaches, extreme fatigue, diarrhea, and slight weight gain. My cycles seem to be closer together and not lasting very long. I have about one good week a month where I feel normal. Am I too young for this? What about home kits that test for early menopause?

I am 45  had similar symptoms as you, diarrhea, shorter periods, migranes, fatigue etc and I thougth it could be the start of menopause.  It turns out I have  hyperthyroidism.  A simple blood test would be able to tell you this.  Take Care and Good Luck

There is an FDA-approved self-test that measures the level of FSH in a urine sample. It is used as an indicator of perimenopause, which is associated with a rise in FSH levels. For more information, visit the FDA
