Two years ago i had my right ovary removed due to a large tumor, the doctors left my left ovary because they said it never devolped right. The doctors also told me that i could not have children. I have not had a period since then but the other day i seem to have "started". Is that possible and why??? And also does this mean that i could have kids???

I can understand how this would be confusing for you. However, to answer your question would take a bit more information. There are a few things you can do to try and help answer your question.

Ask your doctor to get a blood test for FSH and estradiol. If they are normal, it means that your ovary is working (although there is a small chance that the estrogen is coming from somewhere other than your remaining ovary). It might help to get an ultrasound of your pelvis to "see" the ovary and the uterine lining. If the FSH is high, it is unlikely that you can get pregnant.

What makes your question even more difficult is that even if hormone production is in the normal range, it does not mean that egg production and ultimately pregnancy are possible.

I suggest you make an appointment with your doctor and sit down and discuss this important question because your doctor knows your situation best.
