premarin vaginal cream

HI,
I am a 62 year old female post menopausal. I recently had a cystocele (dropped bladder) repair surgery and my doctor put me on 1.5g of premarin vaginal cream everyday for a month and then 10 time a month for 2 more months and now she wants me to take .05g  2 times a week for another 8 months. I am worried about breast cancer , clots and strokes etc. although I have had none of these.She said it will be ok. She said less is absobed in my system using the cream.I need to use this so it will strengthen everything and nothing else will drop.. Has anyone had to use premarin vaginal cream before and after a  fallen bladder repair surgery? How long is a safe time to use it. Does anyone know what will happen if I stop using it.It is so scarey when you read all the risks.

PLEASE PLEASE dont use natural premarin!! It is produced from the dreadful suffering of female horses and since there is a manmade version there is no need to use the natural version!
