I have been taking oral progesterone for some time with increasing doses. I still have some perimenopausal symptoms such as insomnia, anxiety at times, fatigue, heart palps, ect...
My dr now wants me to try sublingual progesterone. He says only 20% of oral is actually used, the rest is filtered out by liver. In theory the sublingual goes directly to body ( he doesn't llike cream, says to messy and need to much) .
Anyone tried sublingual or anyone used cream/oral and now uses sublingual??
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks and god bless all us midlife ladies.
