does estrogenHormone replacement therapy cause weight gain? Is there any hormonal replacement that helps with weight loss? I have been on testosterone (BHRT) along with progesterone and DHEA, and I am gaining weight.
Along with all the other horrid symptoms, we have to include weight issues too?
Yes, estrogenHormone replacement therapy can cause a weight gain. That's the short answer to things. Hormonal fluctuations can cause the weight gain alone....let alone supplementing them as well. :)
Most of us are going through this and the only real answer to it is to eat healthfully, exercise a bit more than you have been. It's pretty commonCommon cold for us to gain weight at this time in our lives with all of this going on so, you've just joined the club.
The good news is, it's not impossible to get it back under controlControl Control rx. It just takes more work than it used to! :)
